Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how React Trade, the wholesale platform of React Egypt operated by React for Creative Solutions ("React Trade", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data when you visit b2b.reacteg.com, register a trade account, place an order, or contact us. We are the data controller for the personal data described here, and we handle it in line with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its implementing rules.

If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the site or place an order with us.

1. Who we are and how to reach us

  • Trading name: React Trade (the wholesale storefront of React Egypt, authorised Sonoff distributor in Egypt)
  • Legal entity: React for Creative Solutions
  • Head office: 42A Al-Moltaka Al-Araby, Sheraton, Cairo, Egypt
  • Email: info@reacteg.com
  • WhatsApp / phone: +20 10 9832 7626

For any privacy request or question, email us at info@reacteg.com with "Privacy" in the subject line.

2. The information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: your name, business name, email address, and a password (stored encrypted, never in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google instead of a password.
  • Trade account details: information you give us when registering as a dealer, installer, or reseller, so we can review and approve your trade account.
  • Verification: a one-time 6-digit code we send to confirm your email address.
  • Order and delivery details: recipient name, phone number, and delivery or pickup address (street, building, city, governorate, and postal code), plus the contents of your order.
  • Payment details: your chosen payment method and, for InstaPay, the InstaPay address/handle you ask us to collect from. Card payments are entered on the payment provider's secure page: we do not see or store your full card number.
  • Your saved content: address book entries, saved cart items, and reorder history linked to your trade account.
  • Things you post: contact-form messages and support requests.

Information we collect automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, and the actions you take on the site. We use this to keep the site secure and to understand which products and pages are popular with our trade customers.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: small files stored on your device. See section 7.

3. How we use your information

  • Create and manage your trade account, verify your email address, and review your trade account application.
  • Process, fulfil, and deliver your orders, and collect payment for them.
  • Send you transactional messages about your account and orders (order confirmations, payment requests, shipping and pickup updates, and invoices).
  • Provide customer support and respond to your messages and requests.
  • Handle returns and exchanges.
  • Send you trade updates and newsletters only if you subscribe: you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and keep audit logs of sensitive admin actions.
  • Measure and improve the site, our products, and our service.
  • Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

4. Our legal basis for using your data

Depending on the situation, we rely on one of the following grounds under the Personal Data Protection Law:

  • Performance of a contract: to take and fulfil your order and run your trade account.
  • Your consent: for trade updates, the newsletter, and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Our legitimate interests: to secure the site, prevent fraud, and improve our service, in a way that does not override your rights.
  • Legal obligation: to keep invoices and records required by Egyptian tax and commercial law.

5. Payments

We offer the following payment methods, and the personal data involved differs by method:

  • Cash on Delivery (COD): you pay our courier in cash when your order arrives. No card or bank data is collected online.
  • InstaPay: you provide your InstaPay address/handle and authorise us to send a collection request for your order total; you approve the payment in your own banking app.
  • Card payment (where enabled): processed by Paymob, a licensed Egyptian payment gateway. You enter your card details directly on Paymob's secure page. We receive only a transaction reference and the payment result, never your full card number, expiry, or CVV.

6. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the parties below, and only as far as needed:

  • Delivery couriers: your name, address, phone, and order details, so they can deliver your order.
  • Payment providers: Paymob for card payments, and your bank/InstaPay for instant transfers, to process and confirm payment.
  • Technology service providers who help us run the site, including Cloudinary (image and media hosting), our email delivery provider (for verification, order, and account emails), and our cloud hosting provider.
  • Google: if you choose to sign in with Google.
  • Analytics providers: Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, where enabled, to measure site usage and the performance of our ads.
  • Authorities and advisers: when we are required by law, a court order, or a lawful request, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

We require our service providers to protect your data and to use it only for the services they provide to us.

7. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you signed in and secure: essential cookies that store your login session. The site will not work properly without these.
  • Remember your preferences: such as your cart and recent activity.
  • Measure and improve the site: analytics cookies from Google Analytics and, where enabled, the Meta Pixel.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, you may not be able to sign in or check out.

8. International transfers

Some of our service providers (for example, Google, Meta, and Cloudinary) process data on servers outside Egypt. Where your data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with Egyptian law.

9. How long we keep your data

  • Account data: for as long as your trade account is open. If you ask us to close your account, we remove or anonymise your personal data unless we must keep some of it by law.
  • Order and invoice records: for the period required by Egyptian tax and commercial law, even after your account is closed.
  • Marketing data: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
  • Support and security logs: for as long as needed to resolve issues and protect the site.

10. How we protect your data

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted passwords, encrypted (HTTPS) connections, restricted staff access on a need-to-know basis, and audit logging of sensitive actions. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond quickly if a problem occurs.

11. Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you and know how it is used.
  • Correct data that is inaccurate or out of date: you can edit most of it directly in your account.
  • Delete your data, subject to records we must keep by law.
  • Object to or restrict certain uses of your data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, including unsubscribing from marketing.
  • Receive a copy of the data you provided in a usable format.
  • Complain to the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Centre if you believe your rights have been breached.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@reacteg.com. We will respond within the period required by law. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request.

12. Children

The site and our products are intended for trade customers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.

14. Contact us

For any privacy question, request, or complaint, contact us at info@reacteg.com or on WhatsApp at +20 10 9832 7626, or write to us at 42A Al-Moltaka Al-Araby, Sheraton, Cairo, Egypt.
